FOXBORO -- Troy Brown's playing days may be over -- or they may not -- but, in any case, he's keeping his future plans close to the vest.

Brown, who played for the Pats from1993-2007 but whose contract was not picked up after last season, is at the Hall of Fame at Patriots Place, seemingly in some sort of ambassador's role. The Boston Herald reported earlier today that Brown will be appearing tonight on Comcast's Sports Tonight, but he told us he's canceling plans to be on the show.

When asked if he's retiring, he replied coyly, "We'll see." Then he was taken away by a marketing type.
