Pictured above: An anonymous piece of, um, architecture by Frank "O!" Gehry

An anonymous piece in the Wall Street Journal, about Frank Gehry, is here. I'm sure it must have been written by someone, but I found no byline on the file. I'll look again and post it if I am fortunate (or unfortunate) enough to find it.

Oh. Joe Queenan. The byline was off to the right, on top. Maybe I didn't want to see it. Queenan is one of the funniest writers alive. I'm not surprised he wrote this.

Greeeeeeeeeeeeen!!!!!!! And I'm not referring to environmentally friendly.

$300,000,000.01 of thanks to Robie Wood for posting Queenan's piece on TradArch!!!

An architecture critic with a sense of humor? No wonder he/she wants to remain anonymous.

Until a moment ago I was quite cfusnoed about this work. There is something I am quite drawn towards, looking, re-looking, then there is a side of me that once again feels broken at architectures' continuing failures of thinking it is an art and that artictects think of themselves as artists. But it clicked, all became clear, when I popped across the park to experience it' myself. It is Disney design, architecture and theory feels good at the time but it is very very bad for you in the long term. But goodness me that gallery is so damm wealthy and busy cleaning all that new Russian money!
