Maureen Bailey named Time Magazine Dealer of the Year

Maureen Bailey, president and owner of Bailey's Chrysler Dodge dealership on Ten Road Road in North Kingstown, was named Dealer of the Year at last week's 92nd annual National Automobile Dealers Association (NADA) Convention & Exposition in New Orleans.

Bailey, 62, was chosen to represent the Rhode Island Automobile Dealers Association - one of only 49 dealers from more than 19,500 nationwide, nominated for the award.
The award is sponsored by Time Magazine in association with Goodyear and in cooperation with NADA.

"In 80 years of being in the same location, I'm still selling to families that my father and brother sold to," Bailey said in a news statement from Time.

Bailey's daughter and granddaughter both work part-time at the dealership which her father started in 1928.
