Pork: September 2007 ArchivesSeptember 16
Even if the party starts with the day's first game at 1, you can still thread some skewers or toothpicks. Head for the grocery store and buy:. 3/4 lb Italian Prosciutto di Parma You may already have: Cut the melon in half and remove the seeds. Using a melon baller, scoop up the melon into small balls. Take a small strip of prosciutto and wrap it around a melon ball. Pierce through with a toothpick and add a piece of mozzarella if desired. Repeat for all melon balls. Arrange on a platter. Makes about 30 pieces. Note: I love melon, so I'd probably buy two for 30 pieces. -- Elise Bauer, Simply Recipes
