Gordon Lightfoot, now a legend at 70 (Wikipedia), was the soundtrack to many a mellow Sunday back when. He sang me to sleep sometimes. Road trips started off with Willie Nelson tunes, but Lightfoot was always in the tape box too. I found a blog devoted to Canoeing -Tales From The Paddle. Lightfoot cassettes were the soundtrack to Yuri's trips before a staph infection of his spinal cord landed him permanently in a wheelchair. This blog documents his memories.
