9. If all else fails, the only foolproof way to remove the Higgs boson from your innards is to disprove its existence.

I would show you a picture, but the best we have is two hadrons colliding, at right, from CERN in Switzerland where the Atlas experiment collides hadrons to simulate Higgs boson.
